Arden Schwenker brings more than 20 years of expertise in operations, compliance, and healthcare business management. With a proven track record of helping medical practices and birth centers streamline systems, increase revenue, and build sustainable operations, Arden has become a trusted leader in practice growth and compliance oversight.
As Director of Operations for a third-party billing service for over a decade, Arden led a team of 50+ employees while improving efficiency, profitability, and compliance across midwifery and birth center clients nationwide. She developed policies and compliance programs, oversaw risk management, and implemented strategic improvements that saved clients money while enhancing patient care.
Her career also includes leadership at EMS Detergent Services, where she optimized operational systems, negotiated vendor contracts, and improved organizational performance. Arden holds dual degrees in English and Finance from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Professional Obstetrics/Gynecology Coder (COBGC)
Known for her ability to translate complex regulatory and billing processes into clear, actionable strategies, Arden continues to support midwifery practices and healthcare organizations in creating structures that thrive. She is also dedicated to training midwives on key performance indicators, revenue cycle management, and billing for their independent practices. Arden is the managing director of GM Billing and Recovery Services®.
